Lenovo has just announced the launch of its revamped Legion series of gaming laptops in India, featuring the latest processors and graphics cards from Intel and Nvidia. The new Legion 5i, Legion 7i, Legion Pro 5i, and Legion Pro 7i come equipped with up to 14th Gen Intel Core i9 CPUs and up to Nvidia GeForce RTX 4090 GPUs. These laptops run on Windows 11 out-of-the-box and boast a fast charging capability that allows them to go from zero to 80 percent in just 30 minutes.
The price range for these new Lenovo Legion models varies, with the Legion 5i starting at Rs. 1,29,990 and the Legion Pro 7i coming in at Rs. 3,24,990. Additionally, Lenovo will offer buyers in select cities the option to purchase custom configurations directly from their website. This gives users the flexibility to tailor the laptops to their specific needs and preferences.
All four models in the refreshed Legion lineup feature stunning 16-inch PureSight displays with up to 240Hz variable refresh rate and up to 500 nits of peak brightness. Powered by Windows 11 Pro, these laptops are equipped with up to 14th Gen Intel Core i9-14900HX CPUs, Lenovo’s dedicated LA1 AI chip, and up to 32GB of RAM. The Legion 5i and Legion 7i come with up to Nvidia GeForce RTX 4070 GPUs, while the ‘Pro’ variants offer up to RTX 4090 GPUs.
In terms of connectivity, these laptops offer Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.1, four USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A ports, two USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-C ports, an HDMI 2.1 port, an Ethernet port, and a 3.5mm audio jack. The standard models are equipped with an 80Whr battery, while the pro models feature a larger 100Whr battery. Additionally, the laptops come with a full-HD camera, two 2W speakers with Nahimic Audio and Dolby Atmos, and Lenovo’s TrueStrike gaming keyboard with RGB lighting for individual keys.
The Legion 5i and Legion Pro 5i weigh 2.5kg and measure 363.4×260.4×26.75mm, while the Legion 7i and the Legion Pro 7i weigh 2.8kg and measure 363.4×262.15×25.9mm. These dimensions make the laptops fairly portable despite their powerful specifications, allowing users to take their gaming experience on the go.
