The nominations for the 21st Irish Film & Television Awards have recently been announced, with Lisa Mulcahy’s thriller Lies We Tell and crime drama Kin emerging as the frontrunners. Notable Hollywood stars like Margot Robbie, Ryan Gosling, and Emma Stone are also recognized for their performances in international films. Additionally, veteran actor Stephen Rea is set to receive the Irish Academy Award for Lifetime Achievement, honoring his outstanding contributions to the industry.

Commenting on the impressive lineup of nominees, IFTA CEO Áine Moriarty expressed pride in the quality of Irish talent showcased in this year’s awards.
