Anne Chérel, who has been with Studiocanal since 2009, has been promoted to Chief Commercial Officer and will be overseeing the new NYC office. She will report to Anna Marsh, Deputy CEO of Canal+ Group and CEO of Studiocanal.

In addition to its existing projects, Studiocanal is in “advanced discussions” with an American partner for the release of Paris Has Fallen. This collaboration highlights the company’s efforts to strengthen its relationships with key players in the American film industry.

Chérel’s role as EP Global Sales & Distribution will continue to be crucial in overseeing international distribution for Studiocanal. Her expertise and leadership have been instrumental in securing distribution deals for successful projects like Autumn and the Black Jaguar, demonstrating her strong understanding of the global market.
