Reportedly, the Community Notes feature is currently in development and not yet accessible to users. According to insights from developer Alessandro Paluzzi (@alex193a), the feature is undergoing advanced testing on Threads, another platform within Meta’s ecosystem. This suggests a significant investment in creating a shared space for community engagement and knowledge-sharing. Zuckerberg’s vision appears focused on returning to “roots around free expression,” hinting at a broader strategic direction for Meta that seeks to address criticism regarding its governance of information.

A screenshot from Paluzzi indicates that users can initiate the process by selecting “Write community note” from a menu adjacent to posts.
