Apple unveiled its latest iPad Air (2024) at the ‘Let Loose’ event, introducing significant upgrades to the popular tablet lineup. The sixth generation iPad Air model comes in 10.9-inch and 13-inch display variants, offering users more screen size options. However, contrary to initial reports, both models feature a Liquid Retina (LCD) screen instead of a Mini-LED display.
The iPad Air (2024) is powered by Apple’s octa-core M2 chip, promising improved CPU and GPU performance compared to its predecessor. The base model with 11-inch display and 128GB storage starts at Rs. 59,900 in India for the Wi-Fi version, with the Wi-Fi + Cellular variant priced at Rs. 79,990. On the other hand, the 13-inch model is priced at Rs. 74,900 for Wi-Fi and Rs. 94,900 for Wi-Fi + Cellular, with a 256GB storage option available for both.

The iPad Air (2024) sports a 11-inch Liquid Retina (LCD) screen with a 2,360×1,640 pixels resolution, similar to the previous model. Additionally, a larger 13-inch display option with a higher 2,732×2,048 pixels resolution is available for users who prefer a bigger screen. Both displays offer True Tone support, P3 color gamut coverage, and a peak brightness of 500 nits.
The tablet features a 12-megapixel ultra-wide angle forward-facing camera for selfies and video calls, with landscape orientation for improved video call experiences. The device also supports Apple’s Center Stage technology, which automatically adjusts the camera angle during calls. On the back, there is a 12-megapixel wide-angle camera with auto image stabilization and Smart HDR 4 support, capable of recording videos at up to 4K resolution and 60fps.
Apple’s new iPad Air model comes equipped with Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity, ensuring fast and seamless wireless connections.
