The concern remains that while albuminuria may decrease, long-term gains in eGFR (estimated glomerular filtration rate) may not materialize, questioning the overall therapeutic value of finerenone in this context.

The awareness surrounding the complexities of heart failure—particularly HFpEF—enhanced by CKD, necessitates an integrated approach when considering treatment options.
