The upcoming D-Day movie “Pressure” by Working Title and Studiocanal has recently announced that BAFTA winner and Oscar nominee Kerry Condon will be joining Andrew Scott and Brendan Fraser in the cast. This new addition brings a wealth of talent to the project, with Condon set to play Dwight D. Eisenhower’s trusted aide Captain Kay Summersby.
The movie will focus on the tense days leading up to the Normandy landings during World War II. Andrew Scott will play Britain’s Chief Meteorological Officer James Stagg, whose crucial role was to inform Eisenhower of the weather conditions that could make or break their invasion. Kerry Condon, known for her role in “Better Call Saul,” has recently received acclaim for her work in Martin McDonagh’s “TheBanshees Of Inisherin” and the Universal horror film “Night Swim.” She has also been involved in Apple’s F1 movie and has an upcoming project with Disney+ and Lucasfilm’s Star Wars sci-fi series “Skeleton Crew” alongside Jude Law.
