Google Pixel 9 Pro Fold made its grand entry into the Indian smartphone market during the latest Made by Google hardware launch event. As the second Pixel-branded foldable phone from Google, it has already created quite a buzz in the tech industry. This year, Google introduced all four handsets in the Pixel 9 series in India, showcasing the company’s commitment to the Indian market.
The Pixel 9 Pro Fold boasts an 8-inch inner display with a stunning 120Hz refresh rate and up to 2,700 nits peak brightness. On the outside, there is a 6.3-inch cover screen that compliments the overall design of the device. The Pixel 9 Pro Fold comes in two elegant colour options – Obsidian and Porcelain, adding a touch of sophistication to the device.
When it comes to photography, the Pixel 9 Pro Fold doesn’t disappoint. To keep up with the demands of a power-hungry user, the Pixel 9 Pro Fold packs a 4,650mAh battery that can be charged using a 45W PPS charger. Additionally, the device supports Qi wireless charging, providing users with the flexibility and convenience of wireless charging technology.
Google has announced that the Pixel 9 Pro Fold will be available for purchase starting August 22 in India. Customers can buy the device from various retail outlets including Flipkart, Croma, and Reliance Digital. The price of the Pixel 9 Pro Fold in India is set at Rs. 1,72,999 for the 16GB+256GB variant, making it a premium offering in the foldable smartphone segment.
