However, a recent genetic analysis conducted by researchers in China has shed light on the potential causal relationship between mental well-being and healthy aging. Unlike previous observational studies that merely identified associations between happiness and health outcomes, the current research employed a sophisticated analytical method known as Mendelian randomization.
