The Department of Justice (DOJ) recently condemned House Republicans for spreading baseless allegations that the federal agency had orchestrated the hush money trial of former President Donald Trump in New York. Assistant Attorney General Carlos Uriarte labeled the conspiracy theory as “irresponsible” and “completely false.” He emphasized that there was no evidence of any coordination between the federal government and the Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg in bringing charges against Trump.
